Snow Mountain Texas: http://www.s333.org/NWwebPDFs/s333.1168.Houston.pdf

From the original plans its been delayed by quite a bit, and the project has been idle with no suspension but also no progression in months. They emphasize on national economy to recover at good point before progressing ahead with plans.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this one.

It looks cool, that surely would be an interesting thing to have in Houston, and I think that would attract considerable regional visitors.

Hehe, reminds me of a Paul Mooney stand up piece. He said white people are only better at two things:

1) Doing crazy s**t (like skydiving, free base jumping, and tackling wild animals).
2) Anything involving snow and ice.

I apologize if that offends anyone, but I found it funny (and Im not black).

I always thought Houston was a bigger city. I'm from Dallas. What does that win, exactly? Who doesn't already know this?

Dont hold your breath. They announce these things all the time it seems like. There is one "planned" for Grapevine, but Im not holding my breath for it either.

With new snow-and-shopping venue, the Alps are coming to Grapevine 1:56 PM CT | News for Dallas, Texas | Dallas Morning News | Breaking News for Dallas-Fort Worth | Dallas Morning News (http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/news/localnews/stories/072209dnmetgrapevinesnow.670680ac.html - broken link)

The mexicans don't mess with snow either, except for snowcones. I am surprised there are so many in CHicago.

My friend has been trying to get me to skydive forever. But I told her there is no reason to jump out of a perfectly good plane. If it aint on fire you must be crazy to jump out of it.

Houston, by far, has more Houstonians living within its boundaries than Dallas/Ft. Worth combined!!

I'm curious to know how many Houstonians live in Dallas/Ft. Worth combined....
