Have you ever had the average rate for a year go as high as 15 cents per kWh? (Most current fixed rate plans - i.e. with specific contract terms - are in the 10 to 12 cent per kWh range).

I had gexa last year with variable rate, it started at 8 cents per KWH, but one month it jumped to 21 KWH. I called and complained and said it is what it is. So I switched to contract rate.

I was with a low-cost provider before the huge surge in fuel prices. The provider went out of business and I was thrown into the "pool" and assigned to Gexa for one month. They charged me well over $0.15/kwh.
