its october 1 and according to google, the highest it will get all week is 82 degrees

Now the only thing I hate more than heat is the harsh cold, and last winter was brutal and long.

I'm starting to get worried we're in for another one.

If you thought that was long and brutal you must never live anywhere that gets real winters! People from up north would laugh at that comment.

I was born and raised in Cali where there was no such thing as seasons... I enjoyed the long winter and the two days it snowed last winter.

Brutal & cold last winter here? Maybe if you're from the sub-Sahara or Pacific tropics.

Sure...it was colder than usual but nothing like what the midwest or northern states get. We did not have months of snow - didn't have to shovel, plow, de-ice or experience $500+ gas/heating bills.

I'll take our summers & winters over any winter up north.

We had like 5 nights where we got down to about 28 - 30 degrees. There are places where in the USA where it gets below zero for long stretches, then heavy snows are thrown in on top of that. About 1/3 of Americans would laugh at the "brutal" winter we had.

LOL. Try living in Chicago or better yet Buffalo, NY or Minnesota. You have no clue about brutal winters.
