Hi,

I am moving to League City soon. I got a position at UTMB, so I commute to the island. I should also go to downtoen Houston one or two days in a week. I am single, looking for a 1-bedroom apartment to rent. I'll come there in two weeks to find a place. I'm looking for a nice neighborhood either in League City or Clear Lake, please let me know which one is better and name some neighborhoods you know they are pretty and nice. I set a budget of $650 to $850 for rent.

Thanks.

I would recommend South Shore Lakes Apts in League City. It is a well kept place and I think it will be within your budget. Some apt complexes get run down over time, and some run down places get renovated. This place seems to stay consistently well maintained.

Hello,

I found Voyager at Space Center apartments interesting. So, could you please name some apartments complexes like Voyager at Clear Lake or League City?

Signature Point Apartments in League City or Village on the Lake Apartments in Clear Lake are comparable to Voyager?

Thanks.

Voyager is brand new and is part of one of those mixed-use-development things that is becoming popular. You won't find anything else like it on this side of town for now. Signature Point is not something I would recommend. Unless it has changed recently, it is not like the pictures. I haven't been inside Village on the Lake, but co-workers live there. I hear it is nice but expensive for what you get. Voyager would be an easy commute to Galveston, and you would be in walking distance of a lot of eateries. Short hop on the NASA bypass to take you to interstate 45.

If you are looking for newer I wouldn't recommend anything in Clear Lake proper. I used to live in the South Shore area, it's nice, but definitely wouldn't recommend Harborwalk or Crow's Nest. Or anything managed by Mosaic for the matter.

I lived at the Anchorage Apartments for a year (across the inlet from Signature Point) and it was fine. They have new management now so I can't vouch for them (maybe it's Mosaic, kk?).

Sig Point looked really nice from where I could see across the water. South Shore Lakes will be very nice also.

You might also check out the apartments over by Tuscan Lakes. Sorry I don't know the exact name but I believe they are newer.

Guess my LC knowledge is becoming dated.

I'd stay South of the lake, NASA 1 can be heavy traffic.
