Yes I have a couple times. The last time was just a couple months ago... I was really impressed by how clean it seemed compared to the time before when I was there in the late 80's.

Hmm, I was thinking it was for a sign, too - like one of the signs for East Beach or something... I honestly don't know because we never go to Stewart Beach since lots of visitors go there - we typically go to spots on the West End as that is where we always went when we lived there. Did you go to
