I am trying to get back home to Houston and am in need of an I.T recruiter; or even better yet one that specializes in informatics
Does anyone know of one ? I have tried just going the normal route of applying for positions online but so far no nibbles.
Background : I have a bachelors of science in computer science, a Masters of Biomedical informatics, and over 10yrs of software development experience.

Just post your resume to every major job site (Monster, Careerbuilder, etc.) and if you have skills that are in demand they will find you. In the meantime, hit up Indeed, Simplyhired, etc., for applying for jobs that match your skillset. Good luck.

There are plenty of open IT positions in Houston. What exactly are you looking for? Informatics is a general term that most commercial employers won't associate open positions with from my experience. Companies I work with are looking for specific functional, application, platform, or programming language experience. The best route will vary based on your specific expertise and interest.

Does anyone know of one ? I have tried just going the normal route of applying for positions online but so far no nibbles.
