We're looking for safe deposit boxes for our valuables, does anyone know of banks that offer safety boxes in the Sugar Land area.

Thanks in advance.

I think you will find that the answer to your question is:

All of them.

Unless its a dedicated drive-thru hub.

That's great. Here in NY, I guess because of space constraints, it's not common to find banks with that feature.

Thanks.

I was going to say the same - almost all banks have safe deposit boxes - but maybe not at every branch. If you have already established a banking relationship, then you should be able to determine where the branches are that have them by going online or calling customer service.

Default Lesson learned, basements can get flooded.

I used to have a safe deposit box in the basement in Texas Medical Center during the Tropical Storm Allison and it got flooded. Later, the bank had the nerve to give me a waiver of liability before I went to check it out. I told them that I won't sign this insulting form , got my stuff, closed all of my accounts and left Bank of America (they bought out my regional bank and before that it was a local bank! ). I never went back to any national banks - local banks with better customer services are for me.

Actually, most national banks do not have safe deposit boxes. (BofA, Chase, Wells) They utilize a relatively small safe with just enough room for the basics. You are much more likely to find them at local or even regional banks.

Chase and Capital One in my neighborhood (not Sugar Land) both have safety deposit boxes. I have one at Capital One. Chase has a waiting list!
