The Houston motto is "Come to Houston and work all day. Drive 3 hours a day to Katy or The Whitelands. You don't need fun and entertainment!"

Houston could learn a lot from other bigger southern cities. Atlanta, New Orleans, Memphis, Austin, amd Nashville all have things that make their city fun and exciting. Houston doesn't do that.

I'm just asking. You don't find it strange? I'm curious.

None of those cities are larger....
Houston doesn't need to do those things, people are still moving here. There's plenty to do though.

I wasn't comparing Houston's population to those cities'. I was meaning they are southern cities with large populations but not necessarily the largest cities. Houston doesn't need those things because people HAVE to come here. However, Houston doesn't have to have the motto "Keep Houston lame."

There's still things to do, it doesn't have to have an image.

The other thing is, Houston is awfully flat and uninteresting in terms of natural scenary. Since mother nature didn't bless it with beautiful coastlines and snow-capped mountains, a developer should build an urban park like Balboa in San Diego or Golden Gate in SF.
Wow I have lived here since August and your statement about types of restaurants is blatantly false. Also note I am from Chicago.

P.S. Are you trolling? How would Houston build mountains or create coastlines? Any ideas how Houston can get it to snow...since that seems to be your only contribution to the TOPIC: What Should Houston Improve?
