Best place for bargain furniture (Houston, Katy: sales, rental, home)

Im not into the big store type of furniture as I find that it is way too expensive. Where Im from there is a store that is basically a warehouse that sells furniture mucho cheap out of there.

Is there anywhere in houston or even the southeast area where I can find a couch, king bed and a dresser for mega cheap?

When we were shopping bedroom sets we found Katy Furniture had some pretty decent quality stuff at good prices - $1,000 or so for a full queen bedroom set. They sell out of a warehouse type building that is not air conditioned, so they aren't your typical big commission sales store.

you can get good deals at places like Exclusive furniture, Bel furniture, and mom and pop furniture stores if you dont want to deal with the overpriced name brand places like ashley, star and gallery

Visited a furniture store last week called High Fashion Home (on Travis I think) - top floor had loads of discontinued stuff - I think you could find a bargain there.

They have all sorts of high end stuff - if you don't see what you may want (their clearance center comes from returned rental furniture), they can order you from catalogs as they buy in large volumes and you get a lower price than in a retail shop.

Bargain furniture is also to be had a IKEA, don't forget.

I also found Crate and Barrel to be good value for the quality.

Aztec Furniture on South Post Oak and Willowbend. They sell Ashley Furniture, just get the item name and/or number, save $100's.

I would suggest Bel furniture. Someone also told me a lace on Harwin. Not sure of the name.
