I really like my 5 neighbors in my cool-de-sac and have nothing to complain about them yet.
BUT
right behind my house, 3 houses down from me, this new you couple just moved in with 2 kids and 2 dogs. Well this loud and obnoxious dog, when outside, barks like there is no tomorrow. Most of the time is outside and I can hear it from inside my house. I can even hear the doug when I am in my backyard and the dog is inside their house. Is really loud and obnoxious.
What would you guys do?

Not exactly sure what you mean, but that wasn't the intent. I don't think color have anything to do with this post mate? Actually they're colored enough if white is also considered an acceptable color for you?

Yes I have an HOA but I am positive that they will come very hard on them...
I am sure I could approach the family but not sure how they will react.... Actually that is one of the reasons I didn't get a dog, knowing that it barks and poops everywhere. If I was in 1+ acre property that will be a different story but I am not...

The first thing I would do is leave the dog owners a note alerting them that their dog is bothering the neighbors with loud and constant barking.
If the problem continues, I would give the HOA a chance to intervene. What makes you think they won't respond?

well I know ethanw is in the HOA board so I guess he can just use your powers to sort th ings out. but yeah, it's just dumb bad luck that anyone can end up with a 'bad neighbor' even in the 'best subdivisions'. I know someone who just bought into the default choice Cinco Ranch. He was so proud only to realize that his childless neighbors are big italian/greek-ish family that gathers up the clan every weekend in the backyard with the inflatable castle, 10 kids bouncing and screaming until 1am, and the adults are big wine people - you know the type that goes hiphiphoray each time a bottle is opened, women with deep voices, and loud laughing types. he couldnt file any complaint because he was the newest so its too obvious LOL

right behind my house, 3 houses down from me, this new you couple just moved in with 2 kids and 2 dogs. Well this loud and obnoxious dog, when outside, barks like there is no tomorrow. Most of the time is outside and I can hear it from inside my house. I can even hear the doug when I am in my backyard and the dog is inside their house. Is really loud and obnoxious.
