Tookies Burgers on 146 will be re-opening in July! Word is out Barry, from T-Bone Toms bought it up, along with the food menu, so it they will have all the same recipes. Like the Wine Burger! YUM!

AWESOME! I miss Tookies.

We tried Stomp Burger in Bacliff - which is rumored to have one of the Tookie cooks. Good stuff! But I'd rather see the real thing!

It is a local Burger joint here in Seabrook on 146. Rumored to have the best burgers in the State....You'd have to decide that for yourself! It was wiped out with the Hurricane Ike and is finally being opened up by another local restaurant owner of T-Bone Toms...which is another place everyone needs to visit at least once! Great steaks and crawfish! Both were/are favorites of the locals.

Just to clarify. We just got back from lunch at Joe Lees....It was a first time for us....Appears they will be staying Joes Lees, but have a little menu printed up with all of The Beer Gardens stuff on it. Had their burger...was pretty decent( and as we remembered)....BUT ....fries typical greasy fries, not worth the calories! JMO!
