I have to go on a week long trip around Labor Day and my son, who does not yet have his driver's license, will be without a ride to HCC for 3 days. I have searched online and only found limo services and such, but nothing that resembles a taxi service. I even looked into a personal errand service, but only found one that was no longer in business and didn't take passengers.

Any ideas or recommendations?

If you do find one it will cost way more then getting the drivers license...

Cut a deal with a limo service. You won't find any taxi service that will do that.

Well, I am not concerned about the cost...only a way to get him to and from school while I am 800 miles away. Even if he had his license I would not feel comfortable with him driving himself to school and back with absolutely no one to call should he have an accident or something. We have no family and no close friends in Houston that could help out if something were to happen.

Yeah, that looks like my only option at this point.

There's a great company called NEVER ALONE that provides taxi service. They also run errands and do just about anything else you might want, including grocery shopping, light housekeeping, laundry services, fixing meals and checking on shut-ins. I've used them many times. They're honest and reliable. The phone number is 281-744-8611. Website is http://www.neveralonestaffing.com/about.html

Exactly the kind of service I was looking for.

Thank you so much!
