Elsewhere, Seattle ranked as #1 overall.

And people say we're just a Oil and Gas town.

Since when is "17th place" something to brag about? What's the point in posting that at all? Another desparate attempt at making Houston look better than the reality...
Considering that Houston is known as a Oil town that's pretty good. If it was LA or New York you'd be drooling all over yourself.

I don't have a problem with their information (though I would confirm it first before believing it). I have a problem with people taking information out of context.

As for fooling people, you're the one trying to push forth the idea that Houston is somehow noteworthy as being "high tech". It isn't...

Again, sounds like something you'd need to take up with HBJ, not me.

No, I wasn't. I have "currently" and "jobs" in the title of the thread. I'm not sure how much more clear you need me to make it.

Well, that's out of left field.
But assuming you're being serious, no.

Sure, but they probably aren't aware that the largest employer in Houston is actually the Texas Medical Center.

As someone familiar with true high-tech employment, Houston is a bit of a joke. But I guess the fantasy needs to continue for the htown lovers...

Yeah, and I've seen their building along the Southwest Freeway. So what? Is that supposed to automatically make the town high-tech?

I saw a big (man-made) hill once on a backroad in south Houston. So, with your line of thinking, that makes Houston a hilly town HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!
