I have never seen so many different bottles of champagne in one single location before... heck, I didnt even know that so many existed... and I have been to France! 4 times!!!

I remember walking in there a couple of years ago and they were doing a tasting of JW Blue Label... which usually retails for about $125 a bottle... amazing...

but anyways, getting back in topic... Specs hasn't broken ground yet, which makes me wonder if it will be open for the holidays...

Does anyone know when the Westpark expansion will begin? I had read they were supposed to start working on it this fall

You're right. They need to expand 1093 to accommodate all this new traffic in front of the shopping center.

Kroger is shooting for a mid December opening. That projection looks optimistic to me. I hope I am wrong.

Academy, which opened Friday, is shocked at initial sales. The soft opening has been very well recieved. The formal grand opening is 10/20.

Specs, and the pad sites along 1093, will not begin construction until Kroger is open. Kroger and Academy are considered the major anchors. They want to be seen prior to other develpment.

The NE corner of 1093/Spring Green is Phase One of commercial development. The NW corner will be Phase 2. I've been told Lowes is one of the major anchors for Phase Two.

In that particular area, Katy is literally begging for quality retail right now. The residents here have money and are more than willing to spend it on local businesses rather than having to drive further than 6-10 miles out of their territory. I was thinking of hitting up Academy this weekend but knew it would be busy on their grand opening. Pappasito's, Becks Prime, Chipotle, Kim Son, Twin Peaks....get your butts up here fast!!

Ulta and Five Below (Five Below is a discount store with everything $5 or less). A Carl's Jr is supposed to go in up front.

I've heard that Costco will be constructed at 1093 in Fulshear. Does anybody know if that is true?
