I own a stage 3 dual turbo V12 and I never race the car even with 625HP on it. I also have another dual supercharger project on another V12, hopefully 900HP. Looking at that video is just plain stupid behavior. You actually could kill someone. What is worse, those are not kids driving the cars. They're way to expensive for a kid to own it. Those are grown up and yet IMMATURE folks

Kids drive Corvettes everyday. Kids drive Lamborghini's and Ferrari's.

That guy just can't drive. It's not like they were pushing 80mph.

It happened during the 1-2 shift... he obviously doesn't know how to drive a manual. I had a Mustang 5.0 before I got married, fixed it up nicely and got it to where it would peel out & slide sideways when you did a fast 1-2 shift. You have to know how to handle that power shock or you'll spin out like this a$$hole did.

Actually, the guy driving the C5 was 23 yrs old...Mama's car...the guy driving the Z06, stated it happened in the 1-2 shift....road was damp, traction control either turned off or didn't catch and he slid. These guys need to take it to the track! Enough to give everyone who drives a Vette ( or any sports car) a bad name.

You can tell the idiot in the Z'06 doesn't know what the heck he's doing because his break lights are on at the traffic signal almost the whole time. Nobody does that in a stick unless they're rolling. I think he screwed up trying to power shift and dumped the clutch into no throttle. Bang, sideways.

Moron.

You can stop to any of the local Houston car shows and see it in person.
I try to drive the car as much as I can almost as a daily, when I don't have the kids. Else I drive it to various car shows all over the country, Texas World Speedway and my most favorite the Texasmile

Speed is a lot of fun, but it needs to be done in a responsable and safe manner. The daily drive is not the venue for high speed, period.
