DejaBlue, You are right about asking what hours. You don't want to have to tackle the Houston traffic in the same direction at quitting time.

Alright, so we are slowly shying away from Humble from the advice here and from other realtors we've talked with. We are looking at this place and wanted to know how transit would be for me to Sector Houston:

Here's the HAR website of the westwind house (area code 77077): 2323 Briarlee Dr, Houston, TX 77077 - HAR.com

Thanks again.

That would be a seriously long drive for you, at least 1+ hour. You need to stay somewhere near I-10 between 45 and at most halfway to beltway 8. Inside 610 is better. I'm on the east side and regularly drive to Beltway 8/59 on Saturdays, it is 45 minutes with no traffic. Is HCC Katy, the only community college with a program for your wife. Has she checked out community colleges like San Jacinto Community College (east and southeast side of town), College of the Mainland (Texas City), or Lone Star Community College (north and NW sides of town)? One of those other colleges would open your prospects considerably. Humble would be doable for Lone Star and San Jac main campus, College of the Mainland would open up Clear Lake Freindswood etc for you.
