You should look around the Galleria, Upper Kirby, Midtown, and anything between downtown and 610 West. There's also another airport called IAH in the north part of town. It's much bigger than Hobby and you will likely be doing more flying through there unless you strictly fly Southwest.

You should be looking a Linkwood & Timberside just inside the loop southwest side aslo look at Meyerland Willow Meadows Willowbend Westbury & Maplewood just outside the on the southwest side all nice areas
