Does anyone know if there are any development plans for the huge lot on the North East corner of W. Dallas and Montrose? It just seems like too much of a prime location to be sitting there vacant year after year...

My recollection is that there is an apartment complex combined with ground floor retail planned for that location. Bit similar to the complex on Kirby and Westheimer.

As mentioned, that Whole Foods is open and has been for a while.

I thought It was supposed to be part of a mosque for a while, (going all the way to Allen Pkwy) but I think plans went under.

I think Marvy Finger bought the land from American General awhile back, and is working on multi-family housing for the site.

If it's residential then apartments, specifically of the Yuppie Filing Cabinet category, no doubt.
