Of course those of us that went to the west oaks Alamo are still annoyed about the Edwards theatre displacing Alamo. Now I have to drive to mason or midtown to watch a movie in peace. (don't get me started on studio movie grill)

I use to go to the one in West oaks too, I don't mind driving to midtown. At lest I don't have to drive to Katy or Tomball now. Whats wrong with the Studio movie grill?

Terrible seating, poor beer menu and age policy that makes it almost as bad as local teeny bopper theatres. In essence, I've quickly become a grumpy old
man.

They will be able to keep the teenagers and others who can't shut up out right?

Yes, because of the liquor license alamo doesn't admit anyone under the age of 18, without a parent or guardian. Which makes for a much better movie experience, you don't have to listen to some idiot teenager yapping away.

They don't tolerate people being loud in the theaters - even adults (who I have found to be equally as annoying in theaters)

We enjoy going to Studio Movie Grill at City Centre, so I'm looking forward to an Alamo Drafthouse very near by. Much easier to drive a couple miles, than to the Beltway.

I need to burn one and go see The Dicator this weekend. Is there a good theater for that?
