We recently signed a contract to build a new home in Cross Creek Ranch.
Although it hasn't started to build and builder also says that they will have inspector from their side.
We still want to know that do we need to find another inspector from our side? Anyone has good recommendations in that area, and what the price range is? Thank you.

It is always a good idea to have your own inspection, even with new construction. I like to use Joe Gonzales with Horizon Inspections. He is always booked up because lots of realtors call him first. His number is 281-376-7602. He did a new construction inspection for me once with a very reputable builder where there was a roof leak, and the AC units were switched. (big unit hooked up where the small one should be). Its money well spent.

I have used Texan Inspection. Ask for Brent.

Brent performed the pre-pour, pre-sheetrock and final inspection for me. Each time I was there when he performed the inspection and once he was finished he walked me through all of the findings and explained to me why it was an issue and why he made his recommendations. I thought he did an excellent job and everything he flagged the builder resolved. To me it seemed like money well spent.
