Hello, everyone. I'm looking for a good place to buy fresh flowers at a good price. I don't need a florist, as I do my own arrangements (I don't have any kind of license though). In Los Angeles, my former home, there's the L.A. Flower Mart, a big wholesale market that's open to the public. I haven't been able to find such a place here. Can anyone point me to something similar? I'm in Bellaire, but will travel.

Thanks a mil.

I'll second the recommendation on the Flower District on Fannin. It's been a while since I was there last, but prices were pretty decent and some of the shops were open 24 hours.

I didn't know about the Flower District on Fanin. That's exactly what I'm looking for. I'm not a member of Costco or Sam's, but I'll keep them in mind too.

Thanks very much for the info; it's much appreciated. I'll go by Fanin this week.

The best place for flowers is Southern Floral. But like you said, you need a resale or wholesalers license to use it.

You should try Houston Flower Girls. You contact them first through their website Home Page and then you can buy wholesale flowers!

There aren't too many flower places left on Fannin. It's not like it was 20 years ago. You can still get some nice deals there. They're open to negotiation.
