Hi

I am relocating to TX - looking at horse property in Magnolia but have heard horror stories about the commute into Houston (Beltway - ExxonMobil at Greenspoint). Does anyone out there have any first hand knowledge of that drive in on 249?

Susan

It's not bad unless you leave after 7.

That commute won't be bad. I am in Decker Prairie and have to go to UH. If I ever leave past 7 I get on Kuykendahl-Huffsmith to Kuykendahl then to 2920/45 then I hop on the Hardy. I hate 45 past 7. =)

If you left before 7 I would say 35-40 minutes. The worst part is 249 right before the tollway but after that it isn't bad.

Consider yourself lucky that you don't have to commute from Magnolia to downtown or the Galleria area.
