It's gray here pretty much from November to April. Cold. Wet. BLAH.

I plan on moving to Houston at the end of next year when I sell everything...i dont think I can wait. This weather is straight up DEPRESSING!

Hows the weather down there?

The weather was grey and 70 today. Dry cold front lingered a bit. Should be 70/50 for a couple days and 80/60 for the next few days afterwards. Sunny & dry the whole time.

Have you been to Houston before for a fairly long period of time. It gets extremely hot in the summer - some people hate it, some tolerate it and others don't mind it at all. I don't mind - I prefer hot over cold weather. The perfect weather for me is weather that doesn't require any sort of jacket, even a light one. We do get our rainy times some years - we had one of the rainiest summers that I can remember in a really long time.

I love November, March and April in Houston... usually cool (not cold), clearer skies and only a token amount of rain... maybe just enough to keep things green.

February seems a bit bleak here to me, with grayer skies than usually. Mid-May through September is very hot and often uncomfortable to those who aren't used to living in the humid south. January and December are generally nice but there are stretches that can be really wet, slick and cold, given a particular year.

Was in Houston a few months ago (sep)...didnt mind the heat at all. I'd rather be hot than cold ANY day of the week.

Getting ready to come back on the 4th of december for a week to do some more research. Imagine i'll come back again in the hotest months just to get a taste before moving down.

4th straight day of gray. No sun in sight

cold = snow = shoveling/work

heat & humidity = sweat

oh yeah and less clothes, it's a no brainer.
The high temp has been in the 70's and low 80's the last 2-3 weeks!

Yeah I know exactly how you feel. I live in Erie, PA. Same crappy lake-effect clouds for 5 months straight. It's like Seattle, but colder.
