Gang Activity
I was the victim of an assault in cottage grove. I was walking with my brother at night and 5 guys ran across TC Jester and Jumped us. We put up a fight and one of the assailents ran back to his house and grabbed a gun. Upon his return i was beaten over the head with the butt of the shotgun. I screamed for help and even though people were outside to witness the attack they did nothing to help. Not even call the police. I had to have surgery on my face to save my eye. If you choose to live in the Grove Be sure to live in a gated area and do not walk out after dark. Seriously. The police have yet to make any arrests in the case..

Things happen to people in the town houses on both sides of TC Jester. The people who live in the older homes are actually safer than the ones in the town homes because they aren't being targeted unless they have some conflict already built up.

They have built large, nice new homes in a neighborhood that has been somewhat poor for a long time.
They are the targets of property theft more than anything, but there is also a lot of graffiti done on the sides of their houses, on their doors, and on their fences just to pisss them off. I don't think violence is anything they have to worry about too much in Cottage Grove.
