My family and I are moving to Katy in the next couple weeks. We rented a house in Cinco Ranch. We currently live in San Antonio and here we have CPS- City Public Service as our energy provider. Can someone please help me out with what company I need to contact for my energy provider in Katy. I think we live in Harris County, if that helps. Also, what cable/internet provider is best ? We currently have Att uverse, but I don't think it is available in our new house any other tips for that area would be great also! Thanks

Electricity: Power To Choose | Home
Gas: CenterPoint Energy

Cable: DirectTV
Internet: Comcast

My recommendations.

This might be a really dumb question, but my home says central gas for beating and central electric for cooling . Does that mean we have to call two different companies ?

Yes. Centerpoint for gas and Reliant (or other energy provider) for electricity.
