I believe WoodCreek Reserve is zoned to Katy high school. It is a good school but no nearly as popular to home buyers as Cinco Ranch High or Seven Lakes High

KB Homes does have a bad reputation. I've only been here a couple of years and everyone says "stay away". But, in my case, even if KB homes had the best reputation, I wouldn't have even looked at Woodcreek Reserve b/c of high school zoning.

I was going to mention that Katy would be a good school if your son is into athletics (specifically football).

Friendswood is far from being built out just look at West ranch developement 2000 homes built by the Friendswood developement company the same ones that did the woodlands and clearlake.Friendswood will be built out in 7 or 8 years.Although there is nothing new being built here for less tha $300,000.

We just moved to Cinco Ranch. It is wonderful here. I hope you can find the perfect house in whatever neighborhood you find. I think you will enjoy the Katy area. Good luck to you!

That's the price you pay for having great schools in living in Cinco.
