Those pictures look a lot like Katy, like Kingwood, like Clear Lake, like the Woodlands, like Glenloch, like like...
Interchangeable except for location. Katy is closer to the EC and West Houston. And when the silly freeway is done, closer to downtown.

Only part of Cypress, The majority of Cypress looks like Fairfield.

I'd say about half of it looks like Katy or Fairfield. The other half like Klein/Champions/The Woodlands. Which is why it's a great choice, you can have whatever you want. Trees? Go North. Wide Open? Go South. Nice choices in either locale. Great demographics and great schools.

BTW, outside of rush hour, it takes 20 to 25 minutes to get to the Galleria from Cypress. 27 minutes to Downtown. 290 is a nightmare for commuters, but so was I-10 before the construction. Nonetheless, people continue to move here in droves.

Show us your Katy photos.

Funny you say that Mr. Football, I took a little trip around Cypress to see what your big hype was all about and I must say it has some nice parts, but in NO WAY! it's better (location and homes) than Katy. The pics. you keep posting makes it look a hell of a lot better than it really is LOL. To each is own, I guess

Funny you say that USC19, I took a spin around Katy (my cousin lives in Grand Lakes) and couldn't for the life of me understand what you Katyites think is so great about it (and that's the supposed 'good' side of Katy). We have neighborhoods like those all over Cypress, the difference is, we don't make a big fuss over them.

I doubt you looked at many places on your little trip, If you did, you would've seen the very same places in my photos (all 178 of them).

After all this my tree is bigger than your tree stuff, and getting back to the OP....why they heck would they want to commute 30-45 to the EC when you can live in it or on the fringe of it???????????

BTW, my two 50 year old live oaks are bigger than all ya'lls tree sand I live in the heart of Houston.
