We like to eat at Local Foods after the museum. Chips and the chicken sandwich is her fav.

+1 on Kemah. Its hard to come up with rertaurants that are kid friendly that are not chains.

Children's Museum - lots of choices for the cuisines you're looking for. Bodega's Taco Shop, if you want to try a lesser known BBQ place, you can drive a little north to Demeris. As for Thai, there's Thai Pepper @ Sheperd & Alabama.

Not sure about kid friendly in the other two locations. Looks like you've had plenty of replies though.
