I don't know if these are "must try" but these are some of my favorites.

Glass Wall, Vic & Anthony's, Brasserie 19, Nikko Nikko's, Istanbul Grill, Benjy's, Zydeco's, Tru Lucks.

Excellent post idea. One of the best meals I've had in Houston was at the food court inside the H-Mart off of Blalock road, a little north of the I-10. There are several storefronts serving excellent Korean food, though the best is near the back (I forget the name) and they serve excellent bibimbap. I'd never have thought to look here, but since I discovered it I've gone back often.

Also, the bbq at the Brisket House on Woodway is excellent.

Thanks all for your replies! Looks like Houston is a great place for foodies! Plenty of choices and variety! If a brief description of the place and top rated dish(es) could be added, that would be great!

The korean food in Houston is at best meh as the korean population in Houston is quite small.

The food court there is almost borderline fast food.

Try the Korea Garden on longpoint instead. It might be the oldest korean resturant in houston and their food is ok.

I found Fung's kitchen to be extremely overpriced and food is soso at best.

Their saving grace is great service and comfortable sitting (which are 2 components that are rarely found in Chinese resturant).
