This place will do for $15 if you buy certain ones from them, and I doubt they'll accept yours if you already own it.

If it doesn't work, call local stores that sells steths and i'm sure they'll do it inhouse or know of someplace that will. Check with hospital stores or medschool bookstores.
Honestly, if you're going to buy a doc a nice steth (I'm assuming you're buying a nice model), you can't chintz out on the engraving. If you find anyone who does it, pay the $35.

I finally found a place. Its Engrave It Houston. I don't mind paying the $35, I was just getting frustrated that most places where not able to do it.
I did see the allhearts.com ones and didn't have the one I wanted in stock.

Yes, I went to a few and most of them didn't do it because it needed to be on a flat surface. The ones that could do it, they were charging between $5-$10 per letter. I thought that was ridiculous since what I need it was 19 letters.
Lesson learned. Next time I buy a stethoscope, I will buy online. Most online store offer engraving for $10-$20. That way I will avoid running up and down trying to find an engraver.

Ah, it makes sense that they were the pricier places you visited. Surprised about the flat surface requirement for jewelers, I assumed most jewelry pieces are flowing shapes, rings, etc. Glad you found a place.
