Any local restaurants or local chains that have a drive thru and are open past 11pm on a weeknight? Went out for a late night bite inside the loop and was a bit surprised that it seemed only national chain restaurants were open past 11pm.

Chachos , baytown seafood, timmy chans (at least 1 location), frenchys i believe

Has to have a drive thru? Thats mostly going to be fast food in any city

Plenty of sit down places open late in the loop

Actually i have no idea if baytown is open that late. Whataburger is a local chain that is now regional.

Does Taco Cabana and Whataburger count? While those two restaurants are chains they are only found in Texas and a few surrounding states, plus they are open 24/7 and have drive thrus.

I can't think of a single restaurant with a drive thru window that isn't a chain-type fast food joint, regardless of their business hours.

If it's got a drive-thru, it's fast food. Fast food tends to be chains.

Houston's better served in this area than most places.

According to Google Maps, there are 18 Jack in the Boxes inside the loop, and another 18 that hug 610. (I probably missed some of the dots on the map.)

Even 10 yrs ago when I lived in that area it seemed like you could find one within less than 1 mile no matter where you were.
