We didn't get the cabinets in the living room when our house was being built hoping it would be cheaper afterwards. I remember builder asking around 4000 for two living room niche cabinets back then. We have Kent Moore cabinets in the kitchen.

I contacted Kent Moore few weeks ago and they're quote now is almost double at 8-9 grand for 2 cabinets

Can you guys recommend any small companies or guys who would make high quality stained cabinets (hopefully matching the kitchen cabinets) for a decent sum.

I would really appreciate if you guys could help me here. Kent Moore is just too expensive for 2 cabinets. Any alternative suggestions?

Sorry buddy, I've only shopped at Ikea, The Dump, Asheley's and Pottery barn. They may have something you're looking for.

Maybe you could check with friends. We hired a carpenter to build a couple closets, cabnets, paint, add lights and it was like 3k. It was 5 years ago but it was a good deal. He now runs a business and his bids are much higher, but if you ask around, check Angie's list, etc you might find a good worker

Thanks guys. If you have a name/contact of a good cabinetry maker that would really help.

I will see if I can find contact info for my guy. But I think he costs more then he used to because he runs his own business. Still, no where near what you were quoted
