Congratulations to the Rockets for defeating Dallas in 5.

Now, I hope the Clippers take SA to 7.

I hate the mavs. Love the blue collar Spurs. But first and foremost, I am a Rockets fan. This may be tough.

I don't know, that's a tough one. On one hand the Clippers have more size in the paint than we do and are a more athletic team, BUT the Spurs have one of the greatest basketball coaches ever and I fear would destroy Kevin Mchale on the coaching front.

I believe our chances are better against the Spurs, additionally, if the Rockets don't advance, I'd rather a Texas team continue along the playoff path.

Generally speaking, my support is based upon location. Hometown first, Texas teams next followed by conference or also geography. The only real exception would be in regards to the Cowgirls. Having to deal with all of the Dallas bandwagon fans in the 70's and early 90's who lived in Houston and loved to trash our team has left quite the bitter taste in my mouth. As a UT alum, I cheer for the Aggies when they aren't playing us (I hope that game returns) as well as the Mustangs, Red Raiders, Cougars, Owls, etc, etc.

For now, GO ROCKETS!!!

I'm having a hard time deciding who I want to see them play next. Either way at least the Rockets will get some rest!

Even if we make it to the conference finals, there's a slim chance we'll beat GSW. I'm rooting for our boys, but tempering expectations.

I guess Spurs because I'd rather lose to them than the Clippers, but either way it's a tough choice. Either we deal with 'playoff spurs', which is an entirely different animal than how they are in the regular season, and watch their team offense run circles around us.. or we put Terry/Prigs on Chris Paul and watch him run circles around us. We'll have to score high just like the Mavs series to win, except the problem is the Mavs had some of the worst defense of any team this year. We shall see. Go Rockets!
