Good evening!

I'm moving from Central Florida to Houston and need some serious advice :-)

Here I go:

I work at the Bush Airport (IAH)

I am married with two children (18 year old who just graduated high school and an 8 year old son who is in the 3rd grade going on to the 4th grade shortly)

Wife is going to school to be a Physicians Assistance (PA) so she will need school that offers that program

We need at-least a 4 bedroom but prefer a 5 bedroom since we take care of my in-laws

School zoning are a concern so an area with good school zoning is preferred for my son who will attend the 4th grade when school starts up again.

I'm not sure what school my 18 year old daughter who just graduated High School will be applying for / attending as of yet.

I want to be close to work (Bush Airport - IAH) since I don't like long commutes

I'd also like to account for my wife going to Physicians Assistant (PA) school so she doesn't kill herself with a long drive but I don't know where her school will be so this can be difficult to factor in ???

Price range is $250,000 - $300,000

I'd prefer to not be in a flood zone

I'm also worried about areas where crime is on the rise

Area's I'm considering are:

Fall Creek (is Crime an issue in Fall Creek???)
Eagle Springs
Atascocita
Kingwood
Summerwood
The Woodlands
Imperial Oaks

Any other areas recommended would be appreciated!!!!

I'm really fascinated with Eagle Springs and Fall Creek for some reason.

I'd really appreciate some insight from all of you wonderful people as time permits.

Thank you for your time and please let me know if you'd like for me to clarify anything.

The only thing Fall Creek has going for it is that it's a bit closer to downtown so if you work at IAH I would strike that off the list.

Crime can be anywhere. My brother and a friend live in Fall Creek, for years, and have never had a single issue with crime.

My only concern in regards to Fall Creek are the middle and high school situations. I've HEARD, don't know as a fact, those schools aren't that great.

If the school issue is something you can work around, if it does exist, I'd say Fall Creek meets your criteria best for everything else.

Well, that and the fact it's a very nice neighborhood with a great location, very nice golf facilities, good family activities and the concerts.

The closest PA schools will be Baylor, which is in the medical center, and UTMB, which is in Galveston. PA school is highly competitive so you may not have a choice where you go.
