If you have Nextdoor in your area it would be a good place to check. I see all kinds of good quality things for sale on ours when people are remodeling etc.

If you are looking to save money, look for places that sell scratched or dented machines. They are new, but have visual imperfections so they are discounted. Just Google "Scratch and Dent."

I personally bought a set from the place on 290 and Bingle about 6 years ago. I don't like the particular models that I got, but they haven't had any issues and work like new, but were 2/3 the cost of buying from a traditional store.

Craigslist? But I agree, buy good and new, and move it as you move.
Old junk might give you nothing just trouble...

Sears Outlet: Discount appliances, refrigerators, dishwashers, laundry equipment, lawn tractors often has some pretty good deals. Right now electric dryers are 60% off, and often appliances are 40-50% off original prices. We haven't purchased washer/dryers there, but have purchased ovens, refrigerators, and cooktops before.
