Does anyone know a place in Houston which sells retail, glass funnels? I am looking for a 100mm funnel with a stem no larger than 19mm. Short stem. I can find them on Amazon, but would rather find one local. I have tried Google, have not had any luck.

Thanks in advance.

Try Sigma-Aldrich or Fischer Scientific. However I am not sure if they will sell any glassware to individuals.

And, there are some things you need a permit to buy. Yes folks, Texas has registration of laboratory glassware. See here https://www.txdps.state.tx.us/RSD/Pr...Laws/index.htm

Unfortunately, there are many vendors here, but they don't sell retail. The ones who considered selling me one actually fabricated them, and it would take a couple of weeks.

I found some on Amazon. I like Amazon, but I'd rather support local business when I can. Sometimes some local businesses rip people off, but I know when I'm being scammed. In this case, they either could not do retail, or it would take a while to fabricate for what I needed for.

Thanks all.

Ha.. no shady meth lab here. 'Not being lazy... but I am going to be out of the office for a period and don't want to impose on co-workers to feed my fish, so I purchased an automatic fish feeder. The problem is the small cube tank has a glass lid, with a 20mm hole for feeding. Not a problem otherwise, but the fish feeder will not dump food in it very well, so I figure if I placed the feeder above the funnel, it would fall in and do the trick. We'll see.

The home brew stores might be a possibility.

I did not consider that, but you are right. Also, I know some people use them to pour out wine when they decanter it. Thanks.

I would check an Auto-Parts store. They usually have various sizes of plastic funnels. I can't imagine spending $$ on lab glassware for a fish feeder.
