Power outage in Riverstone since 6AM this morning. Anyone know what's going on? I've seen some folks working on University Blvd the past several days, moving closer from the Memorial Park area to now near Avalon at Riverstone. Are they causing this? What are they working on?

Are there upgrades happening to the power system in Riverstone (which seems to be weak considering the quick outages we get even with slight thunderstorms.

Anyone know anything, please post here. Thanks.

Yes, saw that too. Some people already have it restored but we're still one of the unlucky ones.

What KW is your generator? Would 22KW power the whole house? How much would it cost (including labor) to get the whole house generator? Thanks.

I have a 22KW Generac and it does power the entire house. I put it in during the building process and it was around 12K including the generator, foundation, panel, wiring, labor. Pretty reliable stuff and I really love it every time it kicks in

Any idea what your load is? Do you have dual central AC units?

No idea on the load to be honest. All I know capacity wise it is designed to power the entire house which it does. I have 2 AC units, 4 and 5 tons. It does have the ability to shut down circuits if overloaded but this feature never kicked in 5 years.

WOW, I guess prices have dropped quite a bit. I was quoted $7500 , installed, for the Generac 22kw.
