That's one of the things I love about the Northeast, the opening of the flowers and trees in spring.


Does Houston get something like this?

Oh my gosh, yes! In just a few weeks you are going to see some amazing transformations. Azaleas and camellias will be blooming everywhere. Bluebonnets, Indian Paintbrush, and a whole host of other wildflowers (many of which are protected on right-of-ways and medians, etc) will be popping everywhere.

Spring in Texas is a glorious thing.

I have two red buds and a Japanese Pink Magnolia tree that're really starting to put on a show.
Azaleas are so confuzzled this year they don't know what to do. Half mine are in full bloom, the other still asleep.

That's how they've been around here too. Someone at Teas told me it's dependent on the variety. Some are early bloomers and some just don't know when to pop. LOL!
