Not sure why the poster even has Houston on their list, excluding the obvious troll answer. If the budget is $1MM with the stated desires, I can think of 10 cities off the top of my head that would be a much better fit. Chicago, Seattle, DC, Philly, San Francisco, Miami, Dallas, Portland, LA, San Diego. That's 10 and I didn't have to think at all.

I agree that the budget of 750K-1MM is low, but what the heck is this?

I am pretty sure his whole post was a joke.

ah....right over my head. I was about to search for those amenities.

I thought he might have been talking about some place like Shadyside, but even more exclusive.

Let us know if you find the humidity controlled section of the bayou.

And the rolling hills here on the coastal plain.

OP also doesn't need to go all the way out to Vidor when Bacliff is much closer to Houston itself.

This thread is still open?

One time I posted an open-ended question on the topic of Houston's ETJ to discuss on CD, and the thread was closed in 15 MINUTES because, as the mod put it, "this is not a chat room."

I guess thinly veiled trolling/bigotry is cool though.

New York is expensive for sure, but the best, most exclusive, walkable, areas of Houston are all adjacent to the rolling hills with skyline views of downtown, along the humidity controlled section of the bayou, and unfortunately your budget is too low for this area.
LOL, you absolutely right:-)

I was laughing so hard to all response from all of you , you made my day, people:-)

Scary thing is, people like OP really exist.

Thinly veiled? I've seen screen doors that aren't this thin. You're right though. There's been a lot more acceptance of the kind of BS seen in the P&OC part of the forum outside of that playpen. Inside, it's really gotten to be like Stormfront Lite.
