Hello!

I've read many posts here on Sienna, Riverstone, Sugarland etc. but they were dated a few years ago. I'm curious to know if anyone can provide feedback between these 2 communities, Avalon at Riverstone(AR) vs Avalon at Sienna(AS) as it pertains to
1) current prices (AR ~135/sqft and AS ~ 115/sqft)
2) future growth of neighborhoods/entertainment/restaurant etc.
3) price holding steady or appreciation.

Right now we are leaning towards AR although it is about 70K more than AS for similar plans.

I obviously prefer to spend less but I am not sure whether Avalon at Sienna homes will appreciate in the next 5-8 years.

The wife and I both work in the galleria area so the commute from Avalon at Sienna seems to be faster.

We would be looking to move within the next 5 - 8 years and would want to consider selling or renting and so that would be a consideration as well. We do not have any kids but are hoping to have one next year!

Also, would there be Metro/Vanpools from either of these communities to the Galleria area?

We are looking at Avalon specifically because we want to live in a gated community(for the perceived sense of security it offers lol).

Thank you!
