Just curious and looking for recommendations. Might be helpful for any other dog owners, as well. We recently got a new pup and are trying to bring him along in public as often as possible to socialize him and work on public manners. Plus, we just love our dog and want to be able to bring him places with us as often as possible.

Anyone know of any restaurants with dog friendly patios? Specially in northwest area (Cypress) would be great.

TIA.

I don't know about the Cypress area, but in general there are lots of dog friendly restaurants around town. A quick Google search for "dog friendly restaurants Houston" pulls up seven websites and a (not very active) Facebook page.

If you want to take your pup to the beach, in Galveston I can specifically recommend Mosquito Cafe and The Spot.

Perhaps a failed Mosquito Cafe ad: "Come for the coffee, stay for the itching"

Every Spring one of the local news sites reports on all the dog-friendly restaurants in the Houston area. You should be able to find this year's report online.

I think The Shack allows pups. I know Barnaby's does, but none are located here in Cypress.
