I've had the exact opposite. Never really have any issues with the AT&T lines, and the Verizon line is ok around 90% of the time, but is more prone to dropping calls, slow data, or no service or 2G only indoors. AT&T also seems to work better in the more rural areas of Texas.

We use MetrocPCS (TMobile) and have good coverage. $80 for 2 lines, 4g LTE, unlimited everything with throttling starting at 28GB per line. Only complaint is that their indoor coverage isn't as good as AT&T, but I've read that TMobile is working on that. Other than that, we're happy.

Probably depends where the closest tower is. Here in Brenham (and outlying areas), my wife has to tether to my Verizon wifi to get a signal, her ATT comes and goes...

It depends on that and also the frequencies used. This is how I have observed them over a good chunk of Houston and it's suburbs though.

I have friends with property out in Industry and there Verizon is better, but both are useable.. At the one in New Ulm, both suck and go between 2G and no service.
