Hello!

I recently got a job promotion and was super excited but the only thing that is killing me is my commute from South Houston to Willowbrook Mall.

I really need a consistent route, I use Waze and Google Maps all the time but they don't seem to help me.

I have an EZ-Tag and I don't mind using the tolls but I would prefer to not spend $12 a day.

ANY advice would be appreciated! If anyone knows of a better route, of course I know I can't escape the traffic but I would like to not question if I should have even taken this promotion.

Thank you!

45 all the way up, then get on Beltway 8 west and onto 249. It dumps you right into willowbrook. Only 1 toll on Beltway, so maybe $2.50 round trip?

A job promotion but you think "South Houston" is a specific point of location. Was this promotion at TGI Fridays or McDonalds?

My bad, memory isn't good. It would have to be 45N to 610W to 290W to BW8N to 249, lol.

Actually is (as noted by another, South Houston - capitalized - is a very specific small city) but people also use it to mean a pretty big geographic area - so yeah it is a good question to ask (for more specifics).

I'm not sure why name of the employer is of any importance in this thread. Agree 45 to bw8. Unless there's an accident. Then you have to get creative.
