I have asked for a mortgage reprieve from the bank due to the hurrican situation. The person I talked to over the phone said the bank offers and approved me for 2 months reprieve. I asked for some form of confirmation for my records but I was just told that it is in the "notes". I have had back luck in the past when representatives tell me they are putting stuff in the notes. I wanted to check with you all to see if anyone has asked for a mortgage reprieve and if you got any documents for your records. I just dont want to get into any issues in the future.

Thanks

I haven't gone through this specifically, but I would NEVER trust someone who says "it's in the notes" not by a long shot.

You can probably call back and ask to see the notes from your previous conversation.

A couple of my coworkers did it. They all had to sign a form for a 2 or 3 month forbearance on their mortgages.
