Sometimes I miss Houston. City is growing up. It may not be as "well-planned" as some cities but the people aren't well-planned either. A lot of authentic people enjoying life.

I’ve been in Houston for 6 years,
And I think something that makes Houston great is that it seems like most people came here from somewhere else to work hard, succeed and give their family a good and safe place to live.
You don’t find so much of an established community claiming to be “the real Houstonians” as you find in other cities.

That's a great point. I'm a native, and proudly wear it. But I can't recall hardly any circumstances where natives disparage newcomers, or claim that only natives are "the real Houstonians". And you're right, many other cities do have this debate.
