Anybody can setup a fundraiser,
it just happens that he's extremely famous and everybody gave money, but the reality is that he only gave $100,000 and got credit for $37 million
Harden donated $1 million and nobody gave him credit for that.

Good point but you have to remember Harden is also a lot richer than JJ. He did get the highest contract in NBA history

Harden makes about $40 million a year. Guaranteed to $230 million!

JJ Watt makes about $15 million a year. Guaranteed to $51 million.

Thanks for clarifying my point. Also not mentioned was that that’s only money being made from the sport. James Harden’s shoe brand is far superior to Watt, being that it’s worth a whopping $200 Million by Adidas. Harden nearly makes what the Texans pay Watt a year just in shoes. And harden also gets a lot more sponsorship money. He’s on pace to be a billionaire according to Forbes, so the one million he spent would’ve put a much bigger dent in Watt’s bank being that Harden is so much richer.
