What's the average cost of utilities per month in Houston for 3bd/2bath home?

Do most people run the central AC throughout during the day? What is the total cost of AC electricity cost per month?

I assume electricity is the highest utility bill monthly.

2600 sq ft house:
Low = 1000kw
High = 2500kw

My house stays somewhat warm all the time,
but that should change when I install attic roof fans to remove the heat out of the attics.

Can you translate it for OP? He ask about cost... You know... $$$

OP many factors contribute here: the age of the house, size, insulation, energy efficiency, your habits, your power provider etc...

It will vary dramatically depending on your usage, electricity rate, time of year, number of occupants, age of appliances and home's energy efficiency.

I have an 1800 sqft house in Pearland built in the early 90s. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths.

Electircity - $20 to $85
Gas - $20 to $45
Water - $75

Obviously, the price depends on the time of year. I usually budget $200 a month for these utilities and typically will come close to or under budget.

2400 sq ft 2 story 90's house

Electricity - $100-250
Gas - $20-40

I have smart thermostats that keep the house low 70's when we are home and mid 70s when we are not.

I think average in Houston is about 10c/kw

Low = 1000kw => $100
High = 2500kw => $250
