Where does that come from?

I'm guessing you voted for somebody totally unqualified simply because she had a D by her name and didn't even know how unqualified she was.

In any event, President Trump managed complex billion dollar businesses. He had a lot more executive experience than President Obama, who didn't even have extensive governmental experience.

Correction, trump mismanaged businesses to point of multiple failures, in spite of all the cheating, fraud, and crimes he committed along the way to gain advantage.

He is the anti-Midas - everything he touches turns to poo. EVERYTHING.

We don't know who ran Trump's businesses.

Running a business and running the government are two different things with very different rules. IMO, that's the trouble with Trump. You cannot be a benevolent monarch in a Republic.

Obama understood the Constitution, Trump does not.

Have you actually looked at his businesses?

Lost contracts, bankruptcies, defaults, deceptions and indifference to investors—Trump’s business career is a long, long list of such troubles, according to regulatory, corporate and court records, as well as sworn testimony and government investigative reports. Call it the art of the bad deal, one created by the arrogance and recklessness of a businessman whose main talent is self-promotion.

Trump hosted a glitzy event in 2006 touting Trump Mortgage, then proclaimed he had nothing to do with managing the firm when it collapsed 18 months later. (Trump tried again, rechristening the failed entity as Trump Financial. It also failed.) That same year, he opened GoTrump.com, an online travel service that never amounted to more than a vanity site; the URL now sends searchers straight to the Trump campaign website. Also in 2006, Trump unveiled Trump Vodka, predicting that the T&T (Trump and Tonic) would become the most requested drink in America (he also marketed it to his friends in Russia, land of some of the world’s greatest vodkas); within a few years, the company closed because of poor sales. In 2007, Trump Steaks arrived. After two months of being primarily available for sale at Sharper Image, that endeavor ended; the head of Sharper Image said barely any of the steaks sold.
He was a millionaire at the age of 8 thanks to his father who paid him $200,000 a year from the age of 3. His father bankrolled many of his businesses and he managed to bankrupt them.

Trump was a millionaire aged eight, according to a wealth of tax, loan, and corporation documents unearthed by the New York Times
Earned $200,000 per year as a three-year-old - and got the laundry revenue from his dad's apartment buildings
Earned $1 million each year from father after graduating college
Got a total of $413 million from father's empire partly through tax 'dodges', even though he claimed he only got a '$1 million loan' from Fred Trump
'Grossly undervalued' property values, avoiding hundreds of millions in taxes during transfers before Fred Trump's death
Got $177 million in cash when Fred Trump's empire was sold off in 2004
New York State says its tax authority is now investigating
The White House called it a 'misleading attack' and said the IRS 'signed off' – but did not seek to rebut the allegations

Actually Texas is doing away with the straight party option in 2020...

They need to change the way they do judges because of idiots like the guy above who vote D for judges because they don't like Trump.

Back when Harris Co. was competitive in the judicial elections in the late 80s/early 90s, Republicans wouldn't run anyone against the good Democratic judges, but Democrats would run in every race. As a result, we got some really awful judges. There were one or two supreme court judges in Texas (don't remember which party-could have been either one) that were elected because of common names and party but were totally unqualified. I'm guessing the latest wave produced the same result with a group of unqualified judges.

And there is a 27 year old County judge running a billion dollar business with zero experience. Being smart only gets you so far. Its not what you don't know that hurts you, its not realizing that you don't know it. As Dirty Harry said, "A man's got to know his limitations." I hope she understands hers.
