Anyone sick of the humidity already?!

Wait, it just started? It's not the middle of summer yet?!

I'm a lifelong Houston resident and I've been sick of the humidity from Day 1. I'm wearing shorts & sleveless shirts and short sleeve shirts for the duration.

People are such whiners. We get like 4 months of heat and humidity and people act like they are dying.

Doesn't bother me, I just came back from Colorado a couple of weeks ago where it was in the 20s and 30s and wicked dry.

I'll take it.

Well, it was good while it lasted. Amazing Spring weather. Like, a real Spring, not the usual whiff of one we normally get.

Now it’s time to pay the piper.

Unpopular opinion but I love me some humidity. I get pretty bad chapped lips and cracked skin anytime we get dry air. Not sure if that's genetics or being conditioned from years of living here, but I don't have any interest in living in a dry climate.

You know what's worse
to live up Kansas/Missouri and get the same hot summer than we get in Houston for 3 months
and 6 months later you are scrapping ice off of your windshield every other week to go to work.

Unlike them, we get 3-4 months of perfect weather during winter
That's when all the whiners will complain that "It doesn't feel like Christmas"

If you've ever lived in a dry climate, you can absolutely love and value the humidity. Since the body is largely water-based, try stealing it from around you, and you'll see what really sucks.

I guess my skin and hair likes the humidity but the rest of me despise it. Makes hot weather feel hotter and cold weather colder. I'd rather carry a water bottle.
