I have a 17 year-old-niece who wants to have her ear pierced to wear earrings. What are some clean & safe place that do ear piercings, preferably in the Southwest part of Houston and Sugar Land?

We live in 77096 and went to 713 in Montrose. It was worth the drive. Very clean/sanitary.

Does she want her lobes pierced or the cartilage? If just the lobes, you don't really need to go anywhere special and can pay a lot at a piercing shop for that. I had my cartilage piercings done at Taurian in Montrose years ago but they aren't around any more. Look for reviews if you can and don't think twice about leaving if they aren't wearing gloves, sanitizing everything, etc.

See if a doctor will pierce her ears. I had mine pierced by a doctor years ago.

I’m sure for ear piercing it is fine. The issue is more with getting hepatitis C after tattoos at shady places.
